Fundraising Walk (May 2018)

The 21st Annual Fundraising Walk was in memory of Catherine Harker, a passionate supporter of Flexicare, who sadly died earlier this year. Catherine had used Flexicare for many years and continued to support us.

Once again we walked from East Hendred, on a number of routes. There were 182 walkers: 72 did the long walk, 85 one of the shorter routes and 25 did the wheelchair friendly stroll. Our amazing walkers raised over £7,000 this year - thank you all, this is about 10% of our running costs.

Eynsham Toll Bridge Collection (May 2017)

Last Bank Holiday Monday we were out collecting the tolls on Swinford Toll Bridge, Eynsham. The weather was typically British - sunshine & showers - but our volunteers brightened up the day in their Flexicare t-shirts and rainbow wigs.
We made over £2,000 from the generosity of car, van, motorcycle and even fire engine drivers! A BIG Flexicare thank you to all!

Below is a selection of images from the day. See our facebook page for more.

Classical Concert (July 2016)

The annual concert was in early July 2016. The Montagnana Trio performed a concert among the dinosaurs at Oxford University Museum of Natural History. It's a truly magnificent venue!

There was a light buffet, wine and soft drinks after the concert.

The acoustics are amazing!

Apple Day (October 2015)

Just for fun, we arranged an impromptu afternoon for our Flexicare families over October half-term 2015. A bumper crop of apples gave us a great idea - apple pressing! A group of friends, a cup of tea and a lot of cake - exactly what a Flexicare event is all about!

Below are some photographs of a very enjoyable day.
